Pros
The people at xScion make it special. There is a focus on pursuing leading-edge/challenging work and providing deliverables that are valued and consultative in nature. I like that thought leadership efforts and professional development are encouraged. As for benefits, overall they remain competitive. I like that employee feedback is solicited throughout the year on ways to improve. Also, all employees get their birthday off as a holiday which I think is appreciated.
Cons
With folks located nationwide, there have been budget limitations in terms of hosting more in-person company functions that span beyond the corp office. I hope this will change as the company grows. As a smaller company, xScion has been challenged at times with having a bigger hill to climb when pursuing new business; especially when a client's spend is limited/cut due to economic factors. Even so, our team goal should be to make this con a positive by emphasizing our proven SME, value, and history of repeat contracts.
