    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at A.T. Kearney full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    1. High learning on the job (esp. in consulting) 2. Significant ownership of small work streams up to 1-2 work streams depending on tenure. Even juniors can make a strong contribution 3. High travel. Especially international travel which is not commonplace for MBB 4. Great breadth of exposure across different sectors

    Cons

    1. Very hectic and stressful job. Comparing this job to others on on hourly basis negates any compensation premium. There are official guidelines in place to address this, however, the practice in case teams differs widely 2. Top talent leaves ATK for better opportunities (i.e. Private Equity, McK/Bain/BCG, startups, corporate jobs etc.)

    Advice to Management

    1. Please change the bureaucratic structure of the firm to allow top performers to advance faster like McKinsey & Co. 2. Give consultants more leverage in terms of support staff 3. Invest in improving ATK's brand in India. Perceived as between McK/Bain/BCG and Big 4 Accounting firms.

Current Employee - Manager in Mumbai

I have been working at A.T. Kearney full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Collaborative work culture - Efforts made to cater to specific employee needs (project locations, flexible hours etc.) - Exposure to multiple industries and project topics; excellent learning for consultants - Absolute (and not relative) grading of employees. Therefore, no forced exits if employees are demonstrating performance above threshold defined for the level - Flexible career progression from one level... to the other

    Cons

    - While salaries at entry levels are at parity with other consulting firms (McK, BCG, Bain), at senior levels the salaries are lesser - No focused program for industry placement of employees exiting the company -
