"Good place for work life balance but no growth"

    3.0
Current Employee - Business Development Manager in Bangalore

I have been working at ACCA full-time

    Pros

Great culture, awesome colleagues, work life balance is very good as mostly people work from home and your line manager & senior managers are very supportive and freindly

    Cons

No growth, stagnant job, there are employees working for more than 5 years in the same position, no IJP, no structure pathway which can be the result of no HR or Management team in India. As the total strength of Team India ACCA is around 30 so no growth at all.

Absolutely focused on driving student numbers and one person takes responsibility of at least 3 peoples jobs. Very horrible and impulsive management favoring a few partners and indulging in unethical practices

I worked at ACCA full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    location, building has running water

    Cons

You'll need the luck of the Irish to survive and if you do have it you'll be allowed to get away with absolutely anything you like. Governance Directorate has been hemorrhaging staff since around 2016 due to the toxic environment and unbelievable lack of good management or direction. Stale leadership who are all coasting in a nice cushy number until they retire. Very very clique-y and a very gender unbalanced office, a bit like a coven. Lots of backstabbing and mediocrity reigns supreme. Failing across the board yet, like the Lego Movie, if you are in there and part of it 'everything is awesome'. The only place that actually deskills people the longer they spend there. Career progression is something for other organisations, and problems are promoted. One of the most toxic and unethical working environments that you could encounter. It wasn't always like this, and pre 2017 was a great employer. What is preached to members is not practiced by the organisation.

    "Unethical leadership"

    1.0
    Former Employee - Manager

    I worked at ACCA full-time

    Pros

The more junior members of staff are really nice.

    Cons

The directors are a clique who support & promote each other at the expense of other employees. Lots of good people forced out and paid off just because someone senior wanted rid of them.
