I have been working at ARIA Resort & Casino full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    You get paid on time

    Cons

Decisions are made by people who don't understand the day to day demands and needs. The only considerations are payroll costs and minimizing them. Workload increases daily.

    Advice to Management

    Care about your staff.

I have been working at ARIA Resort & Casino full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Focus is on luxury and excellence. Everyone works together to create amazing guest experiences

    Cons

Company doesn't allow ARIA flex the way it used to. Corporate is creating cookie-cutter properties

    Advice to Management

Everyone deserves to be evaluated on their performance, not just managers at a certain level.

I worked at ARIA Resort & Casino part-time for more than a year

    Pros

its a high end strip casino, when you can get a scheduled shift (after begging bribing or giving sexual favors) the tokes are pretty big

    Cons

highly corrupt environment . merit is never rewarded. part timers / extra board are forced into begging for hours. management trades preferential treatment for sex. if you are Chinese and know the right person you can pay $ 10,000 for a full time shift. If you are Black (not Ethiopian for some reason) you will never be assigned a high limit game, nor dealing big Bacc. extremely frustrating scenario of those having much...

    Advice to Management

stop the cronyism, sexism and racism. start rewarding those who deserve it.

I worked at ARIA Resort & Casino part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good experience, great team, decent hours. Friendly people and the time goes by relatively fast.

    Cons

A LOT of drama and favoritism. You either get trained for everything or get stuck with one or two rides if you’re LUCKY. Work with a lot of kids, including your coworkers, and sometimes the hours and rotations get really bad.

    Advice to Management

Listen more to the workers. A lot of people left for the same reasons but they haven’t changed at all. Would be nice if everyone got fairly treated and trained equally, but that was almost never the case.

I worked at ARIA Resort & Casino part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Awesome co-workers. You learn how to budget your time to get things accomplished. Decent pay. You can observe how dealers, floor supervisors and pit managers operate if that is a pathway you want to consider.

    Cons

Since you work in a casino, you have to deal with people drinking and smoking. It can be taxing on the senses when you are surrounded by this for an extended period of time.

    Pros

    Easy job, great coworkers.

    Cons

Sometimes the Forbes standards can be tedious

    Advice to Management

There should be more full time positions available. Most of us part timers are consistently working 40 hrs per week with no benefits.
