I worked at ARIA Resort & Casino full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There are many pros of working with ARIA's luxury extension, Sky Suites. There are amazing people that you meet, you get MANY perks and comp. invites to different tours, shows, restaurants, etc. It's rated #2 in Las Vegas on Tripadvisor, #3 in the nation by USTravel, and is one of 46 hotels in the world to hold the prestigious Forbes Five Star AND and AAA Five Diamond titles. With that being said, the reputation you receive from working here is incredible. Many doors will open for you if you're able to add this to your experience. You receive great pay, a paid lunch, wonderful PTO accruals, room for growth, and an exciting job.

    Cons

Since we are rated Five Star/Five Diamond, it can be stressful when our auditors arrive, since we don't know who they are. Additionally, sometimes you will have to multitask with sometimes up to 5 things at once. Sometimes things can be micromanaged, but it's semi-understandable when we have to have such attention to detail to retain our ratings and provide elevated experiences for our guests. Sometimes movement or changes within the department will be kept in silence until it's immediately implemented so expect a lot of surprises, some good and some bad.

I worked at ARIA Resort & Casino full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great pay and Culinary benefits are the best.

    Cons

Management is so disconnected that none of them really know what is going on. The employees are treated like slaves, asked to work harder, do more and do it faster all the time, with never a kind word, or encouragement. If you get injured, you better know the way it works, because they have an entire team of attorneys to help them deny your case and make your life miserable. If you want to advance your career, don't work here! Once you show that you are good at the job you started with, it is nearly impossible to move up, as they are so desperate for people who can do a good job.

I have been working at ARIA Resort & Casino full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great pay, awesome benefits, if you are Culinary.

    Cons

You are treated like a slave. If you show up to work more than 5 minutes early, you are told to not be there so early. If you are waiting to clock out, and the clock is not open on time ( so you should have already been clocked out) and your phone (off) is in your hand, you will be disciplined for "Low Productivity" !!!???? Expectations are extremely high, and no matter how hard you work, or how much you do, you are still told, daily, of all the things you missed or could have done better. You hear about rewards for those who go above and beyond, but never even know who these people are, and nobody in your department is ever one of them. Unless you want are willing to sell your dignity and pride, as well as physical and mental health, don't work here.

I have been working at ARIA Resort & Casino full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great pay and benefits i.e., concerts, restaurant tastings, and comp bottles. You get to meet a lot of interesting people and are the face of the VIP brand name of Aria.

    Cons

Long hours on your feet dealing with upset guests, and the management does not really care about your advancement.
