I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

A&F is an LGBTQ positive work place, supporting the Trevor Project and GLSEN each year during Pride Month. It is a great company to start work with as there are strong opportunities for growth. A&F has a strong culture and values associates who are kind, friendly, passionate, and hard working. The company is incredibly philanthropic, with plenty of options for associates to give back, get involved. They give each person a volunteer day each year. Their involvement with Serious Fun network allows associates, who apply, to give a week of their time to volunteer at a camp for sick kids. Although retail is a fast paced, ever changing work environment, A&F has made strides in recent years with a good work life balance. Often allowing schedules to adjust as needed for personal reasons, and mental health.

    Cons

Like a lot of companies, there is a bit of politics within certain departments. The HR department seems inept at times, often sending mixed messages, or not holding true to the company values.

    Pros

Great environment to work. Bosses are really understandable and they will help you with anything you need. Young workforce and really easy going place to work at.

    Cons

No bad point during the time I was working over there.

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time

    Pros

Very adamant on hiring people that are of different races, religions, backgrounds, skin colour, etc. ever since their diversity policy came to play. Thus, this shows that everyone is welcomed to work here, they definitely do not discriminate. Good environment to work in if you feel like you would thrive in a fast-paced, retail outlet. They have been one of the many influential brands that have paved the way for quality fashion that transcends style and age.

    Cons

While the diverse group of people you meet here & forge bonds with are part of the pros, some inexperienced managers might try to boss you around but it's important for you to stand upright with your opinions too, etc. Also, the part-time associates that have worked here for the longest time have revealed that their hourly pay has never increased. Their hourly pay has remained stagnant all the way from when A&F first opened in Singapore back in 2011.
