  1. "Nice Company"

    4.0
Current Employee - Staff RN in Spanish Fort, AL

I have been working at Acts Retirement-Life Communities part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Friendly colleagues, nice facility, decent pay

    Cons

The company is a good place to work. It does feel like a community and a benefit is getting to know most of the colleagues. The only downside is that it sometimes seems that there is already a plan for positions, promotions etc. It is a great place to gain experience and knowledge about retirement communities.

I worked at Acts Retirement-Life Communities full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good Benefits - that's about it...

    Cons

Bad work environment and co-workers. Honestly, the drama between CPA's, MA's, and LPN's was not worth it in the long run. The LPN's more specifically are rude and talk very badly about other staff and the patients as well. In my honest opinion, the pay is not worth it for such a negative work environment. I knew of many employees who were scared to contact HR and make a complaint against their co-workers for fear of retaliation and also fear that nothing would be done.
