Pros

Nothing nice to say about this company.

Cons

Two-faced employees at all levels, especially upper management all the way to Directors and Managing Directors. I do not trus the internal departments as well. If you are not in their clique then you will get over looked for promotions and other internal career opportunities. I wish I could say that good work will get recognized here, but it seems to be a popularity contest and who is friends with who. They say they pay up to industry standards - but that is a lie. They makes it seem professional, but it really isn't.

Pros

Don't force your team to work 50+ hours and not get paid overtime.

Cons

This company expects you to work iver 40 hours with no pay. Treat foreigners like second class citizens. Only Caucasians get promoted. Don't waste your time with this racist company.

At Acumen Solutions, we strive to treat all employees with dignity and respect, and we are very sorry to hear that you left the company with such a negative perspective. As a professional consulting services firm, it is true that most work weeks involve more than 40 hours. Our average is about 45 hours per week and certainly there are surge periods when more time is needed to meet project requirements. During these periods, we have high expectations of all consultants and staff at Acumen Solutions, regardless of Visa status. As a salaried employee, these hours are considered when setting your annual salary, and you are correct in that overtime does not apply. However, there is added financial compensation in the annual bonus if the employee's annual utilization target is exceeded. We are disappointed to hear that you believe that only Caucasians are promoted, as this is factually inaccurate. Strong performance over time, including success with different clients and projects, along with strong utilization and other corporate contributions, are all considered when evaluating promotions. As an EEO employer, race is not a factor in these decisions, ever. We are very sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience with our organization.
