I worked at Advance Financial full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, lots of hours if you want them

    Cons

Terrible management, training is nothing like the real job. Employees are catty and working for a loan shark isn't fun.

    Advice to Management

Quit preying on your customers and employees.

I have been working at Advance Financial part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I like the company. It isn't necessarily hard for what we get paid. I like that the glass teller window is bulletproof. I currently have over 30 hours every week.

    Cons

The only thing i don't like is that the hours vary. It is never really a set schedule like mornings or evenings. Then i failed my 30 Day competency exam. I felt like that exam should be more about AF. I got all the AF questions right but then the questions about "If you were a waiter" or things like that. It is kind of hard to say how you would handle a situation if youve never been in it?

    Advice to Management

Change the Competency exam to make it more about AF. I would have passed if it wasnt for the other questions about being a host and misleading checks then i would have passed.
