    Pros

    Fun work environment, colleagues and managers all very supportive and helpful, nice location and building, paid medical insurance and good 401K and other benefits including sick time. Feels like everyone is family regardless of department. Less stressful than other call center jobs I've had.

    Cons

    Parking can sometimes be a hassle when trying to get a convenient space in the front but plenty of overflow spaces near the side of the building. More rapid accruing of vacation time would be welcome. Call center work requires flexibility in schedule but they will work with you the best they can. No vending machines.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to foster the supportive and engaging family atmosphere of this organization. Happy employees make happy customers.

    Not found to many cons.. the store is on the corner, so its hard to turn in at some hours

    Pros

    Advance Financial is a company that strives to give employees the same respect and consideration that is expected of them towards customers. While many companies will say that, AF actually puts those words into action. My location feels like I'm going to work with my friends/family. The environment is encouraging, and I feel like I'm working as part of a team. Everyone tries to help each other in regards to schedules, acknowledging that we all have lives outside of our jobs. Every day I know what exactly is expected of me, and I feel like I'm set up to succeed, not fail.

    Cons

    The only cons I have is a lot of the employee gatherings are not in my area (The Upper Cumberland), and it's usually infeasible to drive to Nashville or the other major cities. That is such a small con, and specific to only a very tiny portion of stores compared to the plethora of positives I've experienced.

    Non stressful and easy job to perform

    Cons

    Training and development should provide a more detailed training experience of position to better prepare agents for production. Scheduling is not very family friendly in terms of a work life balance.

    Manager is great and very helpful....doesn't get frustrated if you ask for help.

    Cons

    Not all of the employees are welcoming and don't follow the service vision of Friends Helping Friends.

    Maybe just answer the phone or call back or just respond to emails or calls.

    Pros

    They have great benefits and pay very well. The people I work with seem to be great people and you have room to grow within the company as AF is growing at a rapid pace.

    Cons

    We can't always make every customer happy. It's part of any customer based company. I do believe we need to start telling the customer what the fee for cashing their check is prior to cashing it. I know if I was in the customers shoes i would be very displeased if someone cashed my check without telling me what the cost was.

    Advice to Management

    Make sure the ones working under you are happy.
