    I have been working at Advance Financial full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    This company has very good benefits. The pay is good for the job. They offer paid volunteer days, paid vacation days, and paid sick days.

    Cons

    The only con I can think of is the hours. I understand that it is a company that is open 24/7, however I believe the schedule could be improved. There are some days where I am scheduled to work alone when the store is too busy for one person.

    Advice to Management

    I think it would be beneficial for the store managers to be trained on how to schedule their employees so that they are not over worked.

    sporadic scheduling. could be working late one night and then early the next day

    GREAT PAY! GOOD BENEFITS!! GREAT TRAINING! And the company really cares about you as an employee. I am definitely looking forward to growing within the company.

    Cons

    The schedules could be a bite more consistent. A more attractive break room area in the retails locations would be great as well.

    Pros

    AF has some real do-able goals regarding standards for customer service. Consistency is very important. They focus on that a great deal with regular audits that are performed often. Helps keep CSR on their toes and focused on how they speak and act while behind the counter. Af also seems to really try to focus on their employees by giving them enough opportunities to grow within the company as well as the community by keeping you up to date on company outings, volunteering openings (which AF gives 40 hours of paid time to participate), good benefits, and good starting out pay. I really enjoy working with AF.

    Cons

    Short staffed. A lot of hours required to work, which is okay, but if you aren't willing to make some time sacrifices, then this job would not be a good fit.

    Advice to Management

    AF has a great customer service model and service vision, but the consistency is pretty hard to follow through when the stores are short staffed. Some of the higher volume stores will only have one person to run the show, with a line almost out the door. Even with the best of the best in customer service, there are moments that proves to be a real struggle. AF is actively recruiting more individuals. No advice other than keep up with the recruiting efforts to get more able bodied individuals in the door, who also are not afraid of a little bit of work or time at work.

    focus more on what we need to build a strong and profitable relationship between employees and upper management. People don't quit their jobs, they quit their managers.

    Some people on home office gives you the feeling that they are being fake about their enthusiasm about the company, i know we have to be on stage all the time, but is different when you genually care for all the people.

    The company is growing so rules change everyday! It gets a little confusing and off track at times. no one is on the same page at times due to these changes
