okay company, the people were decent. free lunches occasional. 40 wall street location was a great location for meetings and food options.
Cons
no guidance or help in development. not a lot of areas for lateral movement. old school firm, eat what you kill. If they focused more on incentives for younger employees maybe they'd be able to retain them longer. high turnover rate.

Pros
Good Way to get Licensed. Great wake-up call that wall street can be a very tough place if you don't surround yourself with good people.
Cons
Felt a lot like Wolf of Wall Street. Moral and pay is very low among younger guys on the desk since the uncovered list of accounts gets contacted much more than most of the "covered" accounts. Develop a very thick skin when making 100+ calls a day to hedge funds that already told another young guy they have no interest every month or so for the past few years.

People working at wall street branch are terrible. Old overweight immature men scrapping by with disregard for clients well being.
