Pros
You will learn the backbone of case management, plus counseling and exposure to mental health. Like what everyone has mentioned, this place is a stepping stone. One year is all you need.
Cons
No such thing as a break, you will have patients back to back. If you do take your break, management quickly assumes you're not "working." High turn over rates. Benefits are not the best, more of a discount than an actual coverage. Not challenging, the curriculum is the same for all patients regardless of how long they've been in treatment so it will be repetitive. Pay is not competitive, and bonuses are only obtained if you see available patients which can be difficult. You will be forced to take available patients even if you're trying to catch up with notes. Staff safety is a joke! Patients have brought weapons into the clinic and management answered with the "buddy-system." Corporate refused to add metal detectors in fear of ruining their image. Management is always moody, and if you're lucky they won't take that stress out on you. Promotions are only given to favored staff, say goodbye to equal opportunity. If you want to work in a place that devalues you, treats you as if you're uneducated, and works you like a cash cow then by all means this is the place for you. Otherwise, skip.

Pros
This was my first job right after graduating college and it gave me a lot of experience. I also got along well with my coworkers.
Cons
After being there awhile I felt like it was all about productivity. If you don't meet productivity you don't get a bonus. There is a very high turn over rate due to the very high demands and very low pay. It is also very difficult to get time off of work even when a request is submitted a montj in advance.
