I have been working at Aegon full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Excellent pay and progression model within the EB Contact Centre. Targets are all achievable. Great environment to work in with a friendly culture. Management are friendly and supportive. Lots of incentives to encourage pushing for certain targets.

    Cons

Not much leeway with flex time, but closing time is 5:30pm. Not too late. EB is kind of a forgotten area within Aegon as they focus on the new Platform.

I worked at Aegon full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice office, really really good restaraunt, subsidised Costa and subway, well looked after and plenty of opportunities for progression, flexi time

    Cons

Terrible people, stuffed shirts the lot of them, incredibly corporate feeling and work at lower levels is monotonous

I worked at Aegon full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Thorough training for representatives even without having their Series License

    Cons

Quality Assurance Call measurement matrix prevents you to meet goal. Very picky on the their monitoring of calls (ex. Saying the same # of pleases and thank you's throughout the call.) Call after call after call.. job tends to be redundant and lack of growth

I have been working at Aegon

    Pros

Subsidised canteen, free on-site carpark, friendly staff and flexi time.

    Cons

It's a shame that the starting salary is lower than average and progression seems to be slow compared other companies of a similar role. Otherwise it's an enjoyable place to work!

I worked at Aegon full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Had great colleagues who looked out for each other; Aegon were fair employer's, perhaps overly so. They always seemed to give people a lot of chances if the employee made any mistakes; They paid a fair wage/salary to all their staff & the holiday allocation was good, too.

    Cons

There seemed to be a bit of 'in-fighting' amongst management level staff when I was there towards the end of my time there. A bit of 'jostling' for position & recognition amongst some individuals, too.
