    I worked at Aer Lingus

    Pros

Great colleague to work with .... by that I mean my cabin crew .... a day could start bad but by the end of the day it was a great one

    Cons

Management always on our backs if there was a problem ... it was if they were trying to attain their targets as the cost of cabin crew

    Advice to Management

Listen to the workers and don't be so dismissive .....

I have been working at Aer Lingus

    Pros

Providing renowned Aer Lingus customer service, great team of colleagues, flexible working hours and shift work. Some promotion opportunities.

    Cons

Excessive unreasonable demands of senior management hell bent on destroying famous Aer Lingus ethos. No consideration of work/life balance as promised. No pay rise in 10 years aprox despite several years of profits. Not tackling/removing the dead wood and disruptive staff

    Advice to Management

Far to many of you, unfit for purpose. arrive in and resign 1 to 2 years later having slashed and burned operation. Not listening to voice of the customer (insulting calling them guests and then treating them like cattle). Front line and back room staff deserve respect and recognition for being the Aer Lingus experience.

I have been working at Aer Lingus part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

discounted flights, thats about it. there are oppertunities but they are limited to the whole who you know,, not what you know culture. archaic, at best. just hit the reset button is best for aer lingus.

    Cons

working in an opressive badly managed enviroment, people are in middle management positions, who not only cant make decisions, but dont really know how to. its not their fault, but they are now responsible, and they dont know how to be responsible.

    Advice to Management

start again. admit failure. hit the reset button, re organise the whole thing. iag have come in and now is the time to do it, make the change or aer lingus as a worthy brand will be gone forever
