    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Aer Lingus full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Flexible work patterns, mixed fleet flying, good variety of flight destinations Very friendly staff

    Cons

Trying to get exact annual leave days off not easy.Tough rosters if your on mixed fleet ,jet lag!!long days and absence from home can be hard on family life.

    Advice to Management

Rate and embrace your long term employees better. They are your best assets.Travellers love to see the mature confident staff members greeting them onboard. We handle the difficult issues well and keep our customers happy. The junior staff learn by example.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Aer Lingus full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Staff Travel is good, great fellow work colleagues.

    Cons

Management and operations are terrible. Crew are always left to fend for themselves. Constant pressure put on crew to improve on-time performance and cost cutting measures without any benefits. Long hours, unpredictable rosters.

    Advice to Management

Stop "slash and burn" antics of cost reduction. It is making it impossible for us to do our job.

    I worked at Aer Lingus

    Pros

Great colleague to work with .... by that I mean my cabin crew .... a day could start bad but by the end of the day it was a great one

    Cons

Management always on our backs if there was a problem ... it was if they were trying to attain their targets as the cost of cabin crew

    Advice to Management

Listen to the workers and don't be so dismissive .....
