I have been working at Aer Lingus full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-Good salary ( additional payments to basic wage adds up to be a decent amount) -Training hard but excellent ! -rapid expansion -Promotion possible after 2 years of flying -Long haul destinations good and safe -most hotels on layovers have good standards -more time off than average jobs -staff travel benefits -a lot of nice Crew

    Cons

Where should I start... - rosters done so badly that body is worn out after only a few months of flying -EASA regulations which are to protect crew members not adhered to -HUGE lack of support towards Crew Members -if sick twice then threatened with investigations -Union not putting enough pressure on airline -seasonal contracts painful as you could be off for up to 6 months for 2-3 years in a row -problems with management is causing crew to constantly have battles which is draining -horrible staff facilities at Dublin airport -OTP pressure does not go hand in hand with 100% safety -company does not deal well with passenger issues and ignores their emails/complaints leaving cabin crew to struggle with angry people -aircraft interiors need to be improved
