I have been working at Airbnb full-time for more than a year

    Pros

As a company, Airbnb is an awesome place to work. Bunch of benefits, good salaries, stock options...

    Cons

That led to an immature technical background to the solutions of the company (still running mainly on rails after 10 years). Also, add a lot of corporate management (coming from Google/IBM/Microsoft...) and you get the re-write of the whole thing into... java? pretty weird.
