Senior management are out of their depth and surrounded by ineffective yes-men. They have a history of over-promising, under-delivering and misleading. They self-celebrate delivering tiny things but mess up the significant items such as tax on employee shares, promotions and humane relocations. They even cited employees figuratively "stealing" from them when in actual fact those employees had simply agreed to relocate themselves and their families for the benefit of the company and got some expenses for doing so. This exemplifies their attitude and is all the more galling given the amount of money they have received versus the employees who have relatively fed off scraps.
In spite of overwhelming evidence to back up the above, they have failed to meaningfully acknowledge their own shortcomings, in fact anyone who tries to hold them to account is cast aside.
To make matters worse the product is creaking and needs significant remedial investment and it is very hard, costly and stressful to implement meaning a lot of client-led stress. None of this makes day-to-day work satisfying or exciting, in fact it is extremely stressful regardless of role.
This has all led to extremely poor staff morale and record numbers of leavers including lots of irreplaceable experience. The company has changed immensely for the worse over the last few years and it is such a shame that management have been so blinkered.
