    The overall culture is great.

    There is no consistency with the team. Expectations were unrealistic and no place for human error. A little too much overtime

    Pros

    Pay is ok, management is helpful and the corporate culture was quirky but good.

    Cons

    The biggest issue is that if you think you will be "reviewing and clearing title" you would be wrong. This is basically a customer service position and, for lack of a better word, you're everybody's servant. You will be included in emails that have absolutely nothing to do with you but it's expected that you will take care of issues that are simply not your job. For such a great and interesting anti-corporate, corporate culture, this company has mandatory weekend overtime (sometimes in excess of 60 hours per week). So if you think that this position is reviewing and clearing title and if there's an issue (such as a judgment needs paid or a spouse wants to be added to title) and you think there is a department that handles that...well...you're the department that handles that while getting phone calls and emails from consumers upset that they're loan officers aren't getting back to them. I would simply say that, for the pay, the expectations are high, you will not have good work/life balance and that this is really a customer service position.

    The people are great, made lots of friendships

    Cons

    They're always understaffed in operations and have begun pulling technology resources into their messy workflows. Leadership is clicky and there is a lot of infighting. Senior Leadership does not understand how to build up the technology staff to meet their ambitions. A lot of long time employees that built their core systems have left. Lack of vision for the next generations of these systems.

    The culture at Amrock and the Rock Family of Companies is phenomenal. Because we're treated well, the people are great to work with. Everyone truly wants to help you, and help you develop.

    Cons

    The parking garages can be far away and add 30 minutes to your commute.
