    Positive Outlook

I worked at Army Family and MWR Programs part-time for more than a year

    Pros

It's a great way to get a foot in the door if you want a federal job. You will get plenty of hours if you are part-time or full-time. As long as you are willing to work the job is pretty secure.

    Cons

Pay is low for the amount of work expected. The Flex hours position is exactly that flexible hours, split shifts, or as needed. There is an annual required training that you are expected to fulfill during duty (but you are usually only given one hour a week to work on this training).
