Challenging environment, this company will push you out of your comfort zone and teach you invaluable life skills. Upper management is supportive and optimistic, even in tough times. Family environment and growth mentality.

    Cons

Print industry declined heavily and its hurting revenue. The CEO has no idea of the collegiate industry, hurting the company and the employees in the last 2 years. Ruining the amazing culture the company once had.

    Pros

Training was long and intense but it was fun and somewhat helped prepare you to talk to business owners. The career fair with the career partners is the best thing about this. Tons of internship and job offers upon finishing this internship.

    Cons

They make it seem easy. It’s not. The pay is terrible. Honestly most people are moving away from School planners so businesses don’t even want anything to do with it. Managers have favorites. Very disorganized group/company. Been around for 43-44 years but yet still have a lot to improve on. It’s all about $$ to them so if you’re not making them $$ they don’t care about you in my opinion. A lot of people quit so don’t be surprised if within the first 3 weeks 5 people quit.

    Advice to Management

Be more organized, more open and encouraging. In my interview and every moment I spoke to my manager I was very mislead about the sales process and pay and how easy it is to make “$15,000 or more” until I actually started the internship. Just be honest.
