Pros

- The sales training you receive is invaluable. - Builds your confidence. - Got to work all around Scotland and stayed in awesome digs including castles (Fyvie castle & Brodie castle). - Able to win prizes such as trips away (Holidays abroad too which are covered by management). - Lots of parties and events throughout the year. - Office environment is fun and energetic. -Owners were very honest about how the business work and the money they make from us. - Able to get promoted within the business with each promotion bringing new responsibilities. - Great role to put on your C.V. - You learn how to coach and train others. - £30 a sale not including bonds. My personal best was 7 sales in a day so I made £210 in one day, on different occasions. - On a good week I'd make just under £1000.

Cons

- Commission only so you only get paid for the sales you make. - If you don't make a sale you go home empty handed after walking around in all types of weathers for hours on end. - Started turning into a dictatorship (telling us we had to bring a packed lunch because we weren't allowed to go to the shop in order to have more time tapping doors). I'm sorry but last time I checked you dont pay us an hourly rate so who the hell are you to decide what I can or cannot do. - They're very evasive about explaining the actual job description until you get there. - They say that you'll be able to open up your own office and earn the money that owners are earning but I've seen workers open up offices and still get paid the same amount as before which is such a con because the people higher up get paid more and more for each office they open up. -No holiday pay & no sick pay. - You'd have to be in the office for 11am and the majority of the time you would be cold calling outside of Edinburgh meaning by the time you finished and got dropped off at the office again, you wouldn't be home till around 11pm. So imagine you start 11am. Get home at 11pm and you didn't make any sales. You just spent 12 hours of your day trying your hardest for absolutely nothing. I seen that happen to a lot of the newer people. - On a bad week I'd make around £150.

Pros

No one pro to working for this awful firm!

Cons

You knock doors for 8 hours a day! They don’t tell you in the interview (it’s not an interview really) stage. Owners complain about staff behind their back! COMMISSION only! Told would be solarised never happened. Had to attend office for “sale coaching skills” which was just a brag session on who done a sale the day before. Owners supposedly make thousands yearly from charity but seem to no be able to afford stuff. Spend most your money on paying for work stuff. If you take a day off or make a suggestion you are sacked. Turn over in staff is unreal! Had to move office because couldn’t afford rent! Work 12 + hours a day, 6 days a week and take home £120 max!

We are sorry to hear you did not have a good experience working with us. Our recruitment process consists of two steps. The first is an introductory appointment where we explain, in detail, the company, the role and the work we do. Successful candidates are invited for a second stage, where we elaborate more on the day-to-day, earnings and clarify any remaining questions. We ensure candidates understand the role and business in detail and are happy to be a part of an exciting opportunity and vibrant team. We allow financial independence by enabling our team to be in full control of their earnings, and incorporating many different incentives, as we believe our team deserve to be rewarded for their hard work. For those wanting to develop their career, we provide a morning coaching session tailored to each individual. And yes, we also commemorate the achievements of the team daily as we believe it is important to celebrate accomplishments. We moved office as our team has outgrown the space to a much larger office in the city centre. We are excited to be expanding and look forward to seeing what the future holds for our business. We hope you find a more suitable position, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

Pros

Teach you brilliant customer service skills

Cons

You work 6 days a week you travel everywhere and have to pay for it. You'll roughly start at 10am and finish at 8.30pm. My worst experience of the place was that some people got fired and the boss callum would have a crew meeting in his office he would say very nasty things about the people he just fired tare into them this put me of straight away and I quit. Horrible boss back stabbing to the max

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you did not have a great experience at Atlas Promotions. We would like to correct a few statements mentioned above. It is not compulsory for our team to work all six days. Currently, we have a minimum requirement of at least four full days from Monday to Saturday, which our team flexibly uses to balance their work and life balance. When people start with us, we advise them to carry out our daily training sessions. Our training sessions enable new people to familiarize themselves with the technicalities of the position and learning product knowledge. While those in a more advanced position can help develop their skillset. Our training sessions last 2 hours, meaning our team finishes by noon and ready to start their working day. As a business, we believe in teamwork and supporting one another. It brings us no joy to put others down. We do not hold meetings to badmouth anyone, nor do we encourage that type of behaviour. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
