I worked at Auto Club of Southern California full-time

    Pros

    Training was fully paid for.

    Cons

They dangle the "you can make 100k here" carrot in front of you constantly for 3 months. The job is essentially cold calling former AAA insureds or following up on 3 week old quotes from people not interested.

I worked at Auto Club of Southern California full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Not one pro it is. HORRIBLE company

    Cons

Long hours and mandatory weekends. They discriminate and HR does nothing. This company thinks they are in the 1950’s and treat women and minority accordingly. It is absolutely the WORST PLACE to work in California. Please believe all the bad reviews and not the good reviews. The good reviews are written by over worked recruiters that must must meet their hiring quotas. This place is toxic and the closest you’ll get to hell here on earth. STAY AWAY!!!!

    Advice to Management

Why bother, it’s not like they care or that the 4th floor will make you make any changes.

    Pros

Possibility of making a lot of money, never bring work home, if you sell a lot and don’t struggle you can basically make your own hours.

    Cons

Work on Saturdays, huge hustle to make unrealistic sales goals, management usually doesn’t help you out too much with leads, a lot of cold calling and competition between agents

    Pros

Pension until 2020 and a pay check.

    Cons

    Useless management.
    No communication.
Change introduced by moving to DevOps Scrum which is great on its own but now you are ‘clubizing’ it and the chaos of change is worse.
    Remove useless management.
    Create transition plans.
New management is hiring their friends and countrymen. Existing staff are being overlooked for key positions.

    Advice to Management

Investigate who has ties to an outsourcing company that is in an influential position please.

Learn how to be a manager.
    Listen to your staff.
