- Work from home culture among certain teams has negatively affected the observability of some teams. - Problems are often solved twice and priorities disconnected due to distance between teams. - Compensation structure means that too much of the firm is disconnected from bottom line PnL negatively affecting work ethic. - Company is bifurcated between a tech culture and a trading culture. While necessary the disconnect needs to be bridged. - There are some really lazy people at B2C2 who end up blocking rather than facilitating. - Shoestring budgets force you into interesting solutions. - Extremely long work hours can get lonely when too many people are remote.
