I worked at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Some great people work there and there are interesting work opportunities for learning on the job. You might get sponsored for SC or even DV security clearance which is transferable to other organisations / roles.

    Cons

Don't expect anyone to care about your career and development / training other than yourself. Managers are scared for their own jobs so look to shift blame or treat people badly to make up for their own shortcomings / self doubt demons.

I worked at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Have the best people to work with - Learned a lot from smart people - Company name is recognized and good on CV

    Cons

    - Hire and fire culture. Be warned as you can be hired today and retrenched tomorrow - Yearly retrenchments and restructures - People in company do want to make a difference but held up by leadership in HQ - Leadership only looks at numbers, short-term vision hurting the company in the long run - Strategy changes each year or none at all - Pay not on par with industry *Putting this review out to warn those who are thinking to join. Best to avoid for now as we have seen lots of new hires fired within 6 months because of the constant restructures.
