I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Historical business. Client base. Market access

    Cons

Sub par new and old exec teams living off legacy businesses for now. Talk KPI's and performance metrics but clueless = chaos, expensive mediocrity, abysmal culture. Rightfully vulnerable.

    Advice to Management

Draft and execute a mission and a plan that excites clients and employees - don't be satisfied with survival - then invest in correct things and people.

I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Deep subject matter expertise in many divisions because of long-tenured employees - Actually less political than other large firms where I've worked - of course there's still factions and alliances, but most people want to do what is best for the firm - Long-term employees demonstrate extreme loyalty, passion, and enthusiasm for the firm
