I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

401k match is good and tuition program is worth taking advantage of. Dental insurance is very affordable

    Cons

Under paid by a lot compared to other companies in the same industry. Very hard to move up or around the bank to a new position. Vacation time is average but all other PTO such as personal or sick days is very limited and should be increased.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time with your employees. Get to know them and their career goals. Assist them in any way you can to grow and achieve their goals.

I worked at BNY Mellon full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

benefits, used to be able to work from home quite a bit, ability to learn new things and take on more responsibilities.

    Cons

Too many layers of management and bureaucracy which prevent things from getting completed at a faster pace.

    Advice to Management

Don't focus on taking things away from employees, such as work from home, and communicate more clearly what your core businesses are. Too much change at the top leads to much uncertainty and confession for employees regarding the direction of the company.
