      I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

      Very good work environment and work life balance and can be taken as a full time workplace.

      Cons

      Salary structure not at all satisfactory for juniors, management is bad. No appreciation. Now many sacking is going on. Company is hiring contractors and letting go of employees.

      Advice to Management

      Please focus on the growth of the company not by sacking employees but by increasing business. Otherwise Doom's day is not too far.

      Good working environment.. Good work and personal life balance depending upon your line of business.

      Average compensation structure.. Senior management has more of operational mindset.. believe in quantity of work/headcount and not high end, high skilled work.

      Pros

      Nothing for now. A review two years before, could be a different story. But now I can’t find any pros.

      Cons

      Insecure work environment. The bad part is the management thinks that the fear of getting fired, will make employees more productive.

      Advice to Management

      Please give up the arrogant attitude and start to hear employees genuine concerns.

        Its a great company for those who don't want a challenging working environment and a work-life balance

        Cons

        It was a good company till a few years back but now it's getting worse than ever after new management arrival. No new projects and no challenging jobs Worst level Micro Management. all employee activities(browsing time/chatting time/online time) are monitored and the reports are shared periodically. Politics Politics Politics. There are great politicians at all levels of roles. No work from home options. No Market...

        Advice to Management

        Leaders who define strategies should first know the business line and how to treat employees professionally. Bring good projects and do not spoil good developers career just for project support. Higher Management should know the fact that Rome wasn't built in a day. Don't say false promises to retain employees.
