Pros

The BSO is one of the world's best orchestras (musically), without a doubt - great way to experience a lot of good music and gain a behind-the-scenes insight of a top tier arts org. My team was an amazing, talented group of people.

Cons

The BSO is siloed to the point of no return, with projects conflicting across the board and communications limited to a select few in senior mgmt. My team's work (education) was not a priority, and our programs were underfunded and yet expected for the purposes of PR and grants

Pros

When perks to patron were generous, it was reflected in overall donations, increasing commissions. Free concert tickets.

Cons

Too many slow periods . Paycheck amount fluctuated wildly. Poor lead pools, too many errors in patron histories.
