Pros

-People are very respectful and inclusive. - Dedicated leadership team that values and rewards strong contributors. - Many employees have been at the company for years and carry the culture forward. - Well rounded client base of big corporations and funded startups. - They tend to promote from within rather than recruit outside talent which makes for a more stable, less disruptive environment than most agencies. - Very smart, dedicated employees that enjoy seeing their work beat previous campaign performance metrics. - The team seems pretty laid back but underneath they’re highly competitive which keeps things interesting. - If they want to they could probably become one of the big agencies but their size and ability to stay nimble seems to be one of their strengths and allows for a variety of experiences.

Cons

If you’re a slacker, the agency runs lean so there is no place to hide on days that you just don’t feel like working. That’s not a bad thing but in larger organizations where I have worked there were coworkers with the freedom to slack off from time to time without being noticed.

Pros

- Great management teams. Always patient, readily available to help, and incredibly talented. There's no fear or shame in asking the same question twice - Structured full time hours - Management respects the teams personal time, and promotes a healthy work life balance - An amazingly friendly and personable team. I met some of my best friends once I started working at BSTRO - Many opportunities to grow as developers, as I've been trained to use/have learned several languages I hadn't worked with prior to joining the team at BSTRO - Receive independence to lead development projects - BSTRO recognizes the increase in your value as a developer as you grow - and show initiative in frequent salary renegotiations

Cons

- Would prefer long term WFH opportunities

Pros

Very fair pay, and raises are given when deserved. Good benefits. Comfortable and relaxed environment. Everyone in the staff pulls their weight and goes the extra mile. Very welcoming and friendly office. Lots of laughs throughout the day. Good variety of projects to work on. No micromanagement. Reasonable deadlines. Respect for work-life balance. Required overtime is incredibly infrequent. Dress code is super casual. Strong team environment: it's always okay to ask for help or ask questions. People are recognized for their accomplishments. Occasional office parties during work hours. Ability to wear headphones if desired. Very transit-friendly location.

Cons

Not super flexible on working hours or working from home, but can occasionally be accommodated. The onboarding process for new staff is a bit disorganized.
