Pros

Nice facility that is maintained

Cons

Company is structured to fail. CEO makes all decisions and direct reports are afraid to speak up. Middle management has no clue what they are doing and engineering does not know how to get a product into the market. Worked there for 5 years and the only product launched was one where Badger bought the technology.

Pros

There are a small handful of people that are decent but they are hard to find as they typically keep their heads down.

Cons

This company is stuck in the 1940's from the furniture to their mentality about their staff to their compensation. They talk about being a progressive company that is open to change but they are anything but. They don't like new ideas or new ways of doing things and if you don't follow exactly what your manager wants to the letter you are going to have trouble. If you discuss something in your interview make it crystal clear in writing that they will still support it after you accept the offer. They don't take discrimination seriously...after it was reported, with supporting evidence, I was told that my manager "just needed time to figure out how to deal with a person like me" and "that I need to give him time to get used to having direct reports like me", which meant female and under the age of 50. After I gave my notice, I was informed by several other females that the same thing has happened to them but they've been too afraid of losing their jobs or not getting raises to report it because they knew nothing would be done. The prior CEO was even made aware of the situation and simply passed it on to HR without any sort of follow through to make sure it was being dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
