      Friendly staff and good environment

      Pay is very low for the amount of exhaustion you deal with and how many kid’s lives you change. Understaffing leads to more stress on everyone.

      This non-profit organization is a company that CARES about its employees and the communities that they serve. The down-to-earth CEO co-creates systems to build a strong infrastructure to ensure a steady growth and accountability for all employees. The BACR Best Practices promotes humility, integrity, respect, and empathy towards others.

      In the educational field, the downside is there's many job duties and responsibilities for mediocre pay.

      working at a non-profit is always a great feeling to see the direct impact on the community. had good benefits and room to grow

      Cons

      everyone is over worked; lots of micro-managing and then left to figure it out. everyone has been working there for a long time, so its hard to change things and learn 'how its always been done'

      A great entry level company for someone who is interested in gaining experience in childcare.

      Cons

      10-20 unpaid hours every week and do not feel adequately supported by management. Has been a consistent turn over of Coordinators at my site over the last 5 years with no clear plan for change.
