I have been working at Bet365 full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Food available 24/7
    - Thorough training yet inexperienced advisors conducting the training
    - Wages, enhancements and bonuses

    Cons

    - Morale gets lower and lower
    - Experience and capable staff are never promoted, if you have a pretty face or can be easily manipulated you'll do just fine
    - Management unapproachable and unwilling to listen to new ideas unless they can take credit for them
    - No trust in staff, only told about new releases an hour before it's due to go live
    - Treated like children when it comes to 10 minute breaks and 30 minute dinner breaks, you'll end up with a sarcastic message from a Supervisor if you go over by seconds
    - No recognition of abilities unless you're brown nosing Management or Supervisors
    - Water from the machines is not always ice cold (massive inconvenience)
    - You're unable to have a healthy work/life balance as the place takes over your life
    - On a regular basis you're having to work 7 days for only one or two days off

    Advice to Management

    - Seriously reconsider the people who you promote. A lot of them only use the application and position as it looks good on a CV for an alternative position
    - Give us a break, we're people not minions
    - Treat your staff with more respect and understand people have stuff going on outside of work and should not be penalised for it, you should work together with them to make it work instead of making them ill (which you'd only be penalised for anyway)
    - Learn how to work with people and realise how miserable your staff are.

I have been working at Bet365 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good salary for area, lovely working environment, free gym. Great experience using the latest technology.

    Cons

Team Leaders clearly not qualified or able to cope with the role, with training courses being provided for them only recently in order for them to handle the simple day-to-day tasks.

Very top-heavy structure with hardly any engineers and far too many senior engineers, managers and team leaders. No room for growth any more despite more staff being looked for and desks already shrinking in order to fit people in.

Ridiculous parking situation means you need to add another hour or two to your day in order to secure a space and queue to get out. Far too many people, not enough space anywhere.

Feedback on issues ignored, preferential treatment given to some staff, 30 minute lunch break, no flexibility in working hours. A heavy focus on your failures and a complete ignorance on any achievements you have made.

No work life balance. Treated like a number. Expect to get there at 8AM to park and leave after 6PM with just 30 minutes break.

    Advice to Management

Make changes. You are ignoring and demotivating very talented staff whilst rewarding and promoting people who are incapable. Stop promoting those who are friends with management.

    I worked at Bet365 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I worked in the testing department which is ran on scripts .. you do not need to use your brain just follow the scripts you will be timed on how fast you complete the regression pack and if you do not complete it fast enough it becomes a "can you do your job" kind of conversation. Many people from the team have migrated from the business with no technical knowledge so they follow these scripts merrily

    Cons

Expect to be ridiculed in front of others, don't talk to a developer .. this is not allowed you will obey.. one of the worst testing teams I have ever worked with the managers are awful I was in members so not sure what the other side was like but the stepfords managing the members are going to make your boots shake

    Advice to Management

    Why?
Why can't you talk to the lady who owns bet 365 when you see her? Hello ?
Why can't you talk to developers
Why do you not know till 530 you are needed to work late ?
Why treated like children on the test team ?
