Lot of opportunities are there in BEL to learn for our career growth irrespective of SBU & department. There is a freedom to work independently. SAP platform will be useful for getting job outside. In BEL, for temporary employment this is a good platform for freshers. We can get sufficient technical exposure if we really dedicate towards work.
Lac of planning & training. There will not be any proper training for temporary employees. As soon as the new joiner comes to a department they directly allot a job & responsibility without any guidance which leads to very poor results. The permanent employees such as their bosses will expect much more output from them which is not impossible to achieve. There are communication gaps between permanent & temporary employees and permanent employees are showing so many partialities such as state, language (especially Tamil), cast & community, etc. Contract Engineers are real back bone of BEL without them it will be very difficult to survive & sustain its growth. There will be much more work load & work pressure on temporary employees especially on Contract Engineer who is an obedient & hard worker. There are so many liberties given to lazy works which includes both permanent & temporary employees. There is no corrective action to make those lazy people to work. Actually if all permanent people of BEL work hard there is no need of any temporary employees. Everyone is trying to blame each other and try to avoid to do work. Lot of corruption and malpractices. It is so difficult to satisfy the bosses even after doing so much contribution of hard & smart work. There is no compensation for Contract Engineers to do over time. Nowadays BEL is running only by means of temporary employees.2
