Company provides you the leave bu manager won't company provide you the 9 hours job but your manager will expect to work 18 hours...work life balance is 0 here have compained sometimes to HR also but they also are baised with manager's so I recommend if you have nothing in life go to airtel if you have something don't choose

Work life balance is 0 and politics on a large level if you just doing your work and not licking your managers a.. your variable is lost and if you are doing nothing and just saying I did this and I did this all the day and doing late night job you will get 1st rating

Pros

We have a lot of learning programs which help us develop our skills and develop us as people's manager. We get to have time to time holistic discussions which helps us to showcase our performance and provides opportunities to grow from time to time. Airtel is very strict with its policies and will do what ever it takes to stop any type of violation to its policies. Support systems are great.

Cons

Telecom comes under essential services and so we need to prepare ourselves accordingly. Work life balance becomes a bit tough when we compare it to some of the other areas of work. But it compensates well so we undermine it. Otherwise it's a great place to work.

- Managers are typical Teacher's Pet. And they ask you to act like so. - So process, typical start-up culture. You are blamed even for the manager's fault . Its a blame game always & developers are always pointed. - Once a Year review/rating is totally absurd & doesnt reflect your real efforts. If you are backend developer. Please ignore below - Believe me no work life balance for non-backend developer. Typicall ratio of team member for backend vs other tech is 10:1 - If not backend Java developer, please dont join because Front end/Android/Testers work are not respected. - If not backend Java developer, you always be underrated & no promotion until unless you work on backend full time.

There is no work life balance. You don't get what you deserved. Promotions are very delay. Full of politics.

Management ask to work even when your on leave. Environment is not so good. No backup when your on leave. You have to rework once after coming from leave

No work life balance Unethical practices to achieve target My manager even had monetary deals with channel partner through another TSM HR policies do not have any concern on how reporters are treated Manager can call you anytime in 24 hours and yell at you. If u learn the politics within the company and agree to be a slave of ur manager u survive here

- Less employee friendly, more business oriented. Work life balance is not good. - Some people lacks professionalism . The culture is not like MNC. - Working across multiple teams is a challenge as the collaboration channels are not used in a proper way. Everything is on phone or zoom calls. - L & D programmes, discussion forums are missing.
