where do I start, from discrimination from managers, harsh working environment, poor training, and belittling from upper management, I would say everything is wrong here

Current location reasonable hours as far as management. Paid higher end of production supervisors compared to other companies.

Current location POOR leadership. Not supported or enabled to do the job. Multiple supervisors manage the same associates and areas. Makes it impossible to improve, change, and hold those accountable. Zero support from co-worker or counter-parts to your shift. Always watch your back. Culture at this location is unreal. They want to blow smoke that they care and appreciate your hard work but in reality only care if it benefits them (upper management)

Pros

The Benefits are good before salary. Once you get to salary you pay more and have a higher deductible. Pay is good. Overall the company is good and has Core Values and Beliefs. The Majority of the Management Team are genuinely working to empower everyone to be successful and elevate.

Accountability is enforced unless you are an exemption( sounds contradictory but this is how it works). You can advance but with the wrong manager you will stay stagnant and reviewed by a personal notion versus professional and their apprehensive attitude toward your progression into a higher role makes one question if you should be at the company or not. Which is sad when you are clearly an asset that is recognized throughout the plant and also with the upper Management staff. I guess I just got put in a position with an inexperienced manager that doesn't actually know how to be unbiased and doesn't know how to actually appreciate the hard working individual they have.

Good people in some places. But the good ones generally do not last long.

Management does not have the ability or will to ensure fairness throughout the workplace. Several Niches involved that require workarounds to be effective if you are not in them. Upper management will not generally back up lower management and you will find yourself hung out to dry in circumstances that should be cut and dry with the union. Expectations are not consistent throughout different team members and exceptions to rules are allowed for niche players. Upper management will applaud you for one thing and then not back you up for the same thing on a different person citing years tenured. IE: It is ok for one team member to be progressively disciplined however for another team member it would not be ok for the same violation. This kind of attitude makes it really hard to get good teamwork. HR is basically non-existant locally. They have one human trying to monitor multiple plants in the area.

Upper Management is really Greedy, at the end of the day all employees are just numbers to them. They dont care about them. Every Year they go through restructuring and cut heads. The company is huge on Diversity and Inclusion, but they dont practice anything they preach. They recently announced they are firing everyone who was above the age of 55! Unbelievable There is no stability in your job. Its more of a Male oriented place and there is barely any woman who holds either a Sr mgr or above role.

Company car, gas card. Good benefits. You get to say you have a job. You get to go to an office.

Role is convoluted. You have no control over route sales reps because they dont use the software that managers use to control daily responsibilities. Instead of managing, your just packing shelves and rearranging. The training is non existent and they just throw you in a territory and expect you to have immediate impact. Upper management is so busy that there is no support. The software used is extremely confusing and they dont train you on it effectively. The RSRs wont listen. They train you on safety and waste your time doing that when you should be learning product line and strategy to effectively impact your territory. Unless your in the industry already, stay away. Your not a real manager.

The pay is good and the guys you work with are great people the benefits are good as well and they give you uniforms how nice

Let's see upper management and middle management no nothing about the business they have fired all good managers and kept the worst ones let's see the union president has a family member in management and is still negotiating contracts do you think that's a conflict of interest

Very humanely run company that strives to treat everyone fairly and with respect. I look forward to going to work everyday.

Repairing the breakdown of employee relation with management, is time consuming but with new upper management it's working.
