I have been working at Binghamton University

    Pros

It is nice working with students. Students at Binghamton are friendly and easy to deal with. I am able to create my own schedule and the hours are very flexible.

    Cons

Minimum wage job. No opportunities to rise in management so I am stuck as a sales associate. Main con is I only get paid 8.75 an hour because it is just a minimum wage position.

I have been working at Binghamton University

    Pros

As a student also attending the University, its a great place to work because it is convenient as well as flexible with course schedule. In addition, there is a lot of knowledge about the University and opportunities available to be learned through working there.

    Cons

The largest downside of working at a campus job while in school is the pay, which most often starts at minimum wage. In addition, because it is a State school, employment is through NYS which is slow in regards to paycheck delays.
