    Pros

One gets loaded with duties, will have lots of work to do unlike companies which put one on bench. Learnings for freshers will be greater than in bigger organizations as they need to be quick starters with a steep learning curve.

    Cons

A mix of coworkers but leads, technical architects and mid-managers and senior project managers are bothersome beyond acceptable bounds. Managers will be grilling and will try to boss around creating unnecessary pressure. HR seems not interested in any such important issues. No Travel Reimbursement, No Comp-offs despite working on Saturdays and at times on Sundays too. Mid to top level managers vested with their own interests of survival and pulling on the other's legs.

    Advice to Management

Try expanding the workforce. Older mid-managers who are stagnant and yet being rewarded and favoured by their bosses just by habit, need to be sacked. Autocracy should not be favoured and should be done away with.

    Pros

Pros - Easy to through the interview, because the employment is already guaranteed by some consultancies which are closely working with the HR team of BSIL. An andra wala...will easly get a job in BSIL. Will be outsourced to HP.

    Cons

    1. Excellent Project Managers & Senior Project Managers who are there from 15 years with empty head. 2. What a employee friendly policies which are just on paper. 3. You will be revealed within 1 month....after serving 3 months of notice period. 4. Your actual work starts after you resign from job. 5. Only working on weekdays. Weekend will be however default working. 6. A person working with excel will be offered excellent CTC than those who know the technologies. 7. Easily accessible Management, which will never reply to your mails. 8. Best place to spoil your career. 9. There are projects which are under development from 5years.

Company has lot of project Mangers and so called senior project managers who are good for nothing and the management rely on them. They are technically zero and are present only to pressure team members.Lot of politics.Unhealthy work culture.Worst for anybody's career growth.

    Advice to Management

    Useless Management.

I worked at Blue Star Infotech

    Pros

1.Good Learning 2.Good technical Exposure. 3.Good only for freshers.

    Cons

Too long work hours. No motivation.Incapable management and managers. You will be made to work like donkeys with no reward or recognition. There is no Job Security. It is really a hire and fire company although it claims that it has not laid off a single person during recession. It will terminate the person just quoting non-performance although he is a good performer. Lot of dirty politics. If you are very good to project managers and butter them up then only you can survive here in this company and get recognition. Poor pay hike and appraisal process is very bad and not transparent. Company can throw you out at any time. If you toe the lines project manager and say 'Yes" to them then only you are performer else you are non-performer.You are always under HR scanner. No recognition for hard work. No vision in the leadership.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees with respect and improve work culture and environment in the company.See to it that good, hard working and really performing resources are retained. Give up your use and throw i.e hire and fire policy. See to it that hard working resources are recognized and rewarded.
