Employees are hired in large groups from recruiters (under the impression of becoming full-time) before the busy season and are promptly let go once the season is over.
You record what you’ve done down to every minute to see what “time is being spent on” which is insulting because this is clearly a lie and done to see who is getting let go first out of the latest round of new hires.
Senior management tries to act like they’re doing you a favor by giving you free lunch when negotiating salary even though you’re basically expected to give them an extra hour of your life by working through lunch.
