(1) Mostly a flexible working pattern which can be completed with a degree of personal choice. (2) Comparatively the Job is more secured which is suppose to have the Government backing. (3) Can have a comfortable work-life balance with reasonable no. of days of leave etc. (4) You have clearly defined pay structure and promotion prospects. (5) You can be the proud employee of a company having rupees 6 lakh crores worth fixed assets.

(1) More service oriented and hence in many products the profit is compromised. (2) Fortunes fluctuate as the policies of the Government changes. (3) Not a premier PSU anymore due to its loss making. (4) With a chunk of experienced workforce gone and no new recruitment, the working atmosphere is tough.
