Wonderful place to work

Generous, open-minded, family-oriented, great benefits, challenging (if you want it). The ethos of high integrity is one of the main values practiced at CD&R which shows in the way partners, colleagues and staff are treated. Of all the places I have worked, CD&R is the absolute best. I cannot recall a day in which I did not enjoy coming to work. The additional values of honesty, truthfulness, caring and compassion are intertwined with everything they do. Insurance is employer-funded, with an additional medical benefits plan that covers co-pays and deductibles. Breakfast options are available every day as well as lunch available on many days. Social activities are included throughout the year and the staff is made to feel welcome and highly-valued. In short, I could not imagine working anywhere else and have enjoyed my career here.
Cons
In my opinion, there are no cons

Working at CD&R
30 Apr 2019 - Special Administrator in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I have been working at CD&R for over 20 years. It is a firm that displays compassion and collaboration and encourages leadership and creativity at every level. Everyone works towards the success of the firm with the spirit of a winning team . There is true commitment and dedication to maintain the dignity and integrity of the firm and it is reflected in the Core Values of the firm. There is fairness, honesty, partnership and it is achieved by hard work. There is a sense of belonging to a family. The firm is generous to and caring of all of its employees. It is a wonderful place to work and many employees have long tenure. That speaks volumes!
Cons
Truthfully, for me there are no cons.

A great place to work
13 May 2019 - Executive Assistant in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
CD&R has always instilled values and loyalty in doing business and with its employees. While the firm has grown over the years, there is still a sense of closeness and caring. It encourages learning and mentoring, and offers great opportunities. The benefits are very generous and appreciated, which result in very little turnover. While we work very hard, we feel valued for it. It’s a unique firm, and I feel very fortunate to have spent a good part of my career here.
Cons
There is nothing I could write as a con. Unless it's just not a good fit personally, anyone would be fortunate to join the firm.
