I worked at CHI full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Faith-based organization that continues to grow

    Cons

Unrealistic expectations, specifically, the amount of work expected from very few staff. I worked with some amazing people. It was my first job after graduating college and I learned a lot about myself and my leadership style. I had a lot of autonomy to build a violence prevention program and they provided me with all the resources I needed to succeed.

    Cons

The pay wasn't great but the yearly raises were manageable.
