    Pros

    Good work life balance
    Same salary for same grade
    Strong brand - increases employ-ability
Salary revision every three years - irrespective of performance

    Cons

    Low scope for growth
Less clarity on what the organisation is doing - even at senior level
Not much job security. Will fire you if they are short of funds or if your work is not in their priority area anymore - even if you have worked there for 10 years

I worked at CRY - Child Rights and You full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazing connect to the cause. All the employees are passionate about Child Rights and respect the organisation to the core. The transparency of fund utilisation is the best in the development sector.

    Cons

In order to maintain the protocol, a lot of time is spent in completing internal processes but in teh long term that is keeping the organisation transparent and ethical.

    Advice to Management

Need to be out there making noisesabout the work and the need. Organisation who doesn't work half of CRY is getting benefitted because of their agressive networking.

I worked at CRY - Child Rights and You (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very good work culture. promote team work.maintain work life balance. offer good salary package.experienced and expert senior management .regular guidance. I would recommend this organisation to my friends

    Cons

As it is very democratic in nature and the organisation gives you opportunity to take independent decision ,if you are not comfortable with such kind of practice and too much depended on micro guidance then this place is not for you.

    Pros

You wont find a more professionally run Indian NGO that still sticks to its mission

    Cons

If you're moving from a corporate environment like I did, be prepared for a mindset change about how to operate in a truly "consensus building" mode
