I worked at CSE full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Great Work Environment Creative Freedom Fun Work Outings Awesome Clientele

      Cons

Long Work hours when meeting deadlines As a creative employee, I felt that the company took a drastic turn from creative content to more recap/produced pieces that eliminated lots of the fun, creative work that was once produced. No loyalty to long time employees.

        I worked at CSE full-time

        Pros

Awesome benefits. Lots of happy hours and other fun things, good PTO, flexibility. Amazing coworkers. Great office and great location. Resources and opportunities for continuing education/seminars/workshops ect.

        Cons

Constant changes in upper management and C-level. Big hires that don't make strategic sense and don't always last.

I worked at CSE full-time for less than a year

        Pros

        - Office is top notch, but a little off the beaten path. Improved with SunTrust Park opening in the backyard. - Great PTO and managers are generally flexible if you have doctor's appointments, need to work remote, etc. Work-life balance is easy to maintain at CSE. - The owner (Lonnie) is a great guy who truly cares about his employees and their well-being. He brings an energy and enthusiasm to the office that is contagious....

        Cons

        - Unfortunately, there's a lot of turnover within these brands and day-to-day clients due to non-strategic or poorly executed work. Not much opportunity to develop long-standing client relationships as a result. - Also, the type of work that CSE wins can feel unimportant - e.g. a sponsorship that the client doesn't really care about, but needs to execute at a minimal cost. Leadership doesn't seem to have a strategy for...

        Advice to Management

        - Replace upper level management with people who know how to grow an agency. Don't need to get rid of these employees, but install outside hires in their place that have proven experience running and growing a successful agency. - Focus!!!! Don't try to be everything for everyone. Determine what CSE is really good at, and focus resources into those areas. This will help establish agency expertise, successfully execute...

I have been working at CSE full-time

          Pros

There are some very talented people on the creative and account teams. It's a small shop, so you get to work on a bunch of different projects for a bunch of different clients. Always something cool going on.

          Cons

Frankly, creative "leadership" is a joke. ECD is particularly out of touch. Management is two-faced and back-stabby, you literally can't trust anyone here. Company culture is abysmal and cliquish. I feel like I'm working at an SEC fraternity tailgate instead of a creative agency. Talent is underpaid.

          Advice to Management

Unbunch your panties, learn how to effectively manage a team, and cultivate a better, more inclusive culture.

I have been working at CSE full-time for more than 5 years

          Pros

Fun and laid back working environment. Pretty good about employee engagement. Surrounded by smart and enthusiastic co-workers.

          Cons

Promotions can be slow and slightly underpaying depending on what group you're with.

I have been working at CSE full-time for less than a year

          Pros

Office is nice. There are some good people here and you'll never have to put in overtime.

          Cons

Poor leadership afraid to let junior and mid-level creatives do anything on their own - will take your work and do it themselves or re-assign it to someone else without telling you. More of a production house than a creative agency. Creative department outdated and unashamed of dishonest marketing tactics or ripping off of other brands' well-known campaigns. Most of account management on a power-trip. Creative morale...
