Pros

Providing support and accommodations to students with disabilities is the main value of working within this department. Amongst colleagues there is a lot of support.

Cons

The main issue is within management. Management does not support professional growth, new ideas, and is hardly around. The working environment is sometimes very unprofessional towards students and other colleagues. Also, it is very difficult to get a pay raise, therefore the pay is horrible and insulting.
