    I worked at Camp Thurman part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Awesome opportunity to share Jesus with children, mission field right here in our backyard, great hours, great atmosphere, great schedule, fun, skills you learn and experience you get is way beyond the pay. You get to make lots of friends that you will have for a lifetime.

    Cons

    very hot but hey it's Texas in the summer!

    The best things about Camp Thurman were the children, the fun, and the fellowship.

    The worst things were the heat and the pay.

    The opportunity to influence the campers and teach them the Word of God.

    Cons

    Probably the Texas summer heat, but after a while you get used to it.
