Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Campbell Global full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Great benefits, Christmas bonuses and flexible work schedule.
Cons
Absolutely no support from HR, no room to move up or grow, women are treated like third class citizens. It's a good old boys club and there are a lot of employees who will do anything to further themselves. Men with less experience in my role were being paid more than me for doing the same job.

Pros
Everyone at every level has been nothing but respectful. That starts at the top, and so is part of the true culture. Fair pay and EXCELLENT benefits. Employees are treated like adults.
Cons
It's a complex industry, and it's hard for any employee to have a full picture of the business processes. Communication could take a higher priority.

Pros
Benefits (why many stay), many of the worker bee staff (both in field and office) are good people
Cons
Management, career opportunities only for those willing to schmooze, the fact they care about money more than people

Pros
Good benefits, flexible atmosphere, caring and fun co-workers, positive environment. Enough freedom and autonomy to do work your way, while still having access to a functional and collaborative team.

Conservative nature of the industry means some things are done in old ways. Not a lot of growth or change opportunities

Pros
Good benefits. Downtown location. Some great coworkers which is what keeps most people here longer than they would otherwise stay.
Cons
Management is out of touch and truly only care about the bottom line. Conservative etiquette. Ruthless decision making. HR is worthless.

RecommendsPositive OutlookI have been working at Campbell Global full-time for more than a year
Pros
Campbell Global is all about the long run, and recognizes that by investing and retaining key personnel. The benefits that Campbell offers to employees and their families is impeccable. With an awesome profit sharing program, Campbell provides reason for an employee to join in on the organization's success. Employees at Campbell Global understand the importance of integrity and fiduciary duties to their clients when working in the investment management industry. The workplace is professional, and the output that is provided because of this leads to high client satisfaction.
Cons
With low employee turnover, the opportunity to move up is more dependent on the company's growth than employees leaving the company. However, when the company does grow, internal hires are highly considered and have seen success moving up the ranks.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Campbell Global for more than 3 years
Pros
Great opportunity to work on very interesting projects and be part of some of the largest deals that take place in timberland investing. Lots of very smart people, with very low turnover. Management genuinely cares about their employees and is supportive of development and training. I have always received acknowledgment and appreciation when extra hours are required. Good pay, very good benefits, and a fun culture. Generally, offers a good work/life balance.
Cons
As a relatively flat organization with low turnover, opportunities to move into a management position can require some patience.

Pros
Good Location, 401k contributions and non management staff are great. Annual ski trip is always a lot of fun, as is the christmas party.
Cons
Literally no career development opportunities. Don't expect to move up unless your boss retires. Even in times of fast investment growth, new opportunities aren't created for staff. Management is very conservative, both in it's business practices and politically (you may here various sexist or homophobic remarks at a happy hour when people get loose).
