    I worked at Capgemini

    Pros

Varied & interesting client base Majority of colleagues great to work with Autonomy in delivery approach (largely due to 1st & 2nd Cons)

    Cons

Lack of joined up thinking across capabilities Quality of Knowledge Management and Proprietary Assets both poor Client needs not properly considered during Sales process (copy & Paste the last proposal) Casual approach of Senior management towards sexism and bullying - both are rife

I have been working at Capgemini part-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The values really matter, it is a genuinely ethical company, and builds very collaborative customer relationships. There are few barriers to employees moving between roles within the company. All of this adds up to a n employer where the opportunities are endless if you wish to take them - and the emphasis is on you driving your own career. It's not a perfect meritocracy, but good people generally get recognised and thrive

    Cons

The business runs on personal networks, and if yours ever breaks down (lose sponsorship) you can struggle. Pay is highly targeted on high performers (which is of course a pro if you perform well!)

I have been working at Capgemini full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - fantastic variety and number of very talented people - diversity of roles and working practices, there is no push to 'conform', people are encouraged to be creative and bold - working environment and staying aligned to the 7 values

    Cons

    - As with all mammoth organisations, it can be confusing to navigate within the organisation initially - this isn't a company for people who expect their progression to be carefully stage managed, you will be expected to drive your own destiny at Capgemini, so perhaps not for everyone? - Mobility between different parts of the organisation is not as easy as it could be, but this is improving quickly
