Pros
Good to get exposure to the luxury jewelry and watch industry, good to have as your first opportunity after education.
Cons
Very time sensitive projects, workload is very high as the teams are relatively smaller and the atmosphere is not that friendly.

RecommendsPositive OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Cartier for more than a year
Pros
Cartier is much smaller a company than one would think, which provides great opportunities for those who are entrepreneurial and enjoy wearing many different hats. The cache of the brand Cartier rings as substantiated by the creation of a truly superior product.
Cons
The HR department through Richemont is horrendous. Many of the salaries and benefits offered to non-executive employees were shockingly low. If you don't speak French, you may have difficulty forging work relationships with colleagues, or even participating in work meetings / conference calls
Advice to Management
Invest in your people or they will continue to leave Cartier in pursuit of positions that compensate employees commensurate with his or her value.

StarStarStarStarStarI worked at Cartier for less than a year
Pros
People are passionate about what they do and care very much about the company in itself. The company is still growing and has a heritage and history unlike that of many others.
Cons
It may be a slower industry than others
